The Seabank Hotel is the Perfect Base for a Golfing Holiday with a brilliant choice of Historic courses within a few miles.

Most Famously the Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. Recently described as one of the finest Links Courses in Wales, and recently host to the Ryder Cup Seniors. With seaviews from every hole on the course, sand dunes and a strong sea breeze to contend with it really is a magnificent Challenge to the serious Golfer.

Southerndown Golf club just 20 minutes away, set on the cliff tops looking back at porthcawl and the ogmore river valley is another great challenge. Its location makes it a very well drained course and surrounding bracken and heathland can punish the slightest mistake.

Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club just 5 minutes from the Seabank Hotel is equally challenging set in the sand dunes in kenfig next to the nature resverve. It is one of the only 24 hole golf courses in the world. The extra 6 holes used to encourage the juniors and for winter time recovery of other holes.

The Grove Golf Club again just 5 Minutes from the Seabank Hotel is a fairly new course in comparison with the Royal porthcawl but none the less enjoyable to play being more inland the wind is not such a factor and the course more forgiving.
