Everybody has heard of Surfers flocking down to Newquay and rhosilli beaches in the summer months but stop for a moment and consider that there are some excellent surfing beaches in here in Porthcawl.

In Porthcawl the Seabank Hotel is a stone's throw from 2 great Blue Flag surfing beaches, Namely Coney Beach and Rest Bay.

Local Surfing Hero and Four Times British Champion Simon Tucker runs his British Surf Association Approved Billabong Surf School in Rest Bay. Simon Has kindly offered our Guests the Opportunity to take advantage of the reduced rate of just £20 for a half day session which includes 2.5hrs tuition, board Hire and Wetsuit Hire.
